Lesley Carrington

Lesley is a Chartered Tax Advisor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants. She has over 20 years’ experience working in the fields of accounts, audit and taxation. Through this, she has been involved in not only audit and accounts preparation, but also tax planning including as part of structuring transactions (including MBOs, MBIs, business acquisitions and disposals) and tax due diligence work. She has also been called on to advise on corporation tax issues (such as research and development tax credit claims and availability of capital allowances) and can assist with negotiation of large or difficult enquiries from HMRC, succession planning, share schemes and Inheritance Tax planning. Her wealth of accountancy experience helps to bring all this seamlessly together for clients.

Richard Price

Richard is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the ICAEW Audit & Assurance, Corporate Finance and Tax Faculties. He graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Banking and Finance in 1992. He has over 15 years’ professional experience working and training in the accounting and finance sectors. He has worked in both ‘Big 4’ and regional practices, and his areas of expertise range from providing consultancy to businesses which have no formal Finance Director role to working with clients and other professional advisors on business transactions (MBOs, MBIs, acquisitions and disposals of businesses). He also has experience both of working overseas and working with UK based clients with international interests. His close work with all his clients means he has an in depth understanding of both accounting and business issues faced by firms.

Melanie Price

Melanie graduated in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University in 1992 and worked for HSBC before commencing training as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand. She is also a qualified teacher with a specialism in Mathematics. From this background she brings a range of communication and management skills along with an understanding of business and finance.

Teresa Cragen

Teresa is an experienced bookkeeper accountant with over thirty years’ experience. She has extensive knowledge of Sage packages including construction and payroll modules.  Teresa has been using these packages on a daily basis for most of her career and has seen many changes over the years.

Teresa has also used many other accounting packages and is familiar with most of the proprietary packages on the market at the moment including the likes of Access, Exchequer and Quickbooks.

Teresa has looked after a varied portfolio of clients over the years in the construction, retail and manufacturing industries and has a vast knowledge of preparing management accounts and statutory accounts within these industries
